THE ERRANT CAT!

Picture
This is a whimsical forest scene where the miniature “painter” has been in the process of working on the “birdhouse”; but he has recently taken his break for lunch.  However, the errant cat, generally a problem around birdhouses, scampered up the painter’s ladder knocking over his lunch to the delight and entertainment of the raccoon family (probable recipients of the painter’s ham sandwich and apple), the old rat (grateful for the cheese made available to him), and the snail who came out from under the tree stump to see what all the excitement was about!

The roof is designed to represent the forest.  Look at the lower section of the roof and you will notice there are four evergreen trees planted in good earth and enjoying a blue skied sunny day in the beautiful North Carolina woodlands.  Although the cat was errant, everyone (except the painter) seems to be pleased with the outcome…
